Three films "Special 26", "Vishwaroopam" and "Kai PO Che!" that were released earlier this year are still raking in money at the overseas box office.

Kamal Haasan's "Vishwaroopam" which was mired in controversy is still running in overseas theatres. The film was released on 1 February in the US and UK circuits. In its eighth week, the film collected ₹31,391 ($577) from two screens in the US, where it was released in Tamil and Telugu.

The Tamil version of the film till now raked in ₹5.62 crore ($ 10, 39,994) from the US box office.

On the other hand, "Special 26" starring Akshay Kumar has completed its theatrical run at the domestic box office, but is still drawing audiences in the US and UK.

The heist drama directed by Neeraj Pandey is currently in its sixth week. It has collected around ₹21, 000 (£ 256) from two screens in the UK, while at the US the total collections after the sixth weekend stand at ₹5.81 crore ($ 10, 76,222).  

The third film "Kai Po Che!" directed by Abhishek Kapoor was released worldwide on 22 February. The critically acclaimed hit film starring newcomers garnered positive reviews at the box office. Rave reviews and positive word of mouth helped the film's earnings in India and abroad.

After its fourth weekend, "Kai Po Che!" collected ₹1.60 crore from the UK, ₹5.83 crore from the US and ₹64 lakh from Australia.
