Vishal Krishna has cleared the air regarding a recent controversy. Some reports had earlier said the actor was upset with Ajith and had stopped a song from Thala's movie from being played at an after-match party recently. But, Vishal has now denied the allegations.

He tweeted, "One article says I stoppd Ajith s song.another says ridiculous statements.dis is http://childish.how can u publish somethin I havnt said. [sic]"

His clarification came after reports of him being angry with Ajith emerged on the Times of India and a few online websites. Thala had skipped the recently-held celebrity cricket tournament organised by the Nadigar Sangam to raise funds to construct its new building.

This reportedly made Vishal Krishna stop "Adharu Adharu" song from Ajith's film "Yennai Arindhaal" from being played at the after-match party. Now, the "Pandiyanaadu" actor, who is getting ready for the release of his long-delayed film "Madha Gaja Raja," has put an end to the issue by rubbishing the rumours.

The Nadigar Sangam had organised the tournament on April 17 at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai. Kollywood was almost in full attendance and superstars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan were the prime attractions of the event.

Other industries' stars such as Balakrishna, Shivaraj Kumar, Nagarjuna, Sudeep, Mammootty and many others had also graced the occasion to make it a successful event. However, a few from Kollywood failed to turn up at the event. Vijay and Sarath Kumar were the other notable celebrities, who skipped the cricket tournament.
