Opposites attract, they say. When 27-year-old Kia Parsons and 41-year-old Billy Bunning of England decided to get hitched, they wanted their wedding cake to reflect their unique personalities.

When Parsons wished to have a traditional white cake, Bunning, a superhero fan, wanted a taste of his favourite masked crime fighters on the special day. They approached cake maker Julia Baker of Tier By Tier demanding a unique wedding cake.

The couple was much delighted to see the special cake at their wedding, held at Milton Keynes on 14 August. While one half of the cake looked like a traditional white cake decorated with the usual sugar flowers, the other side flaunted the logos of Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man and Batman. It was a dream come true for the bride and groom.

Many of the guests came to know about the 'two-face' wedding cake only when the couple unravelled it.

It took almost 40 hours for Julia to create the amazing cake, which looked like a traditional one from most of the angles. "This was one of the reasons I didn't sleep much last week, but I couldn't complain as I loved every minute I spent making it! It was Kia who wanted the vintage look with the elegant Flowers, and Billy's idea to reveal the Marvels (except for Batman!) at the back, I think it worked so well! Congratulations to you both," Julia Baker wrote on the Facebook page.
