Hisar, Nov 19 (ANI): Residents of Hisar in Haryana offered food to police and media personnel positioned outside the fortified hermitage of self-styled godman Rampal, who is wanted on murder charges, on Wednesday. Residents said that after seeing the situation where police and media persons have been injured, they decided to offer help. Media persons were attacked by police during clashes with the Rampal's supporters on Tuesday (November 18). The incident occurred after followers of Rampal opened fire at police personnel standing on guard outside the hermitage, thus forcing police to resort to baton charge and firing, leaving many injured and two police personnel getting shot.
