The songs of "I," composed by AR Rahman, have also received grand response from the fans. Apple's iTunes India has selected "I" album as the best selling album this year. Fans are looking forward to the trailer release and it will be interesting to see if the trailer will manage to rekindle the curiosity surrounding the Vikram starrer.

The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the post-production work is going on. The film is expected to be censored soon, after which the release date will be announced. As of now, the makers of "I" have confirmed a Pongal release. The latest buzz is that the film might release on 9 January, though an official word on the release date is still awaited.

The Shankar directorial is deemed as a romantic thriller film with Vikram sporting different looks. The actor has undergone several physical changes to portray his roles. His multiple looks will be one of the major highlights of the film. Amy Jackson, Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi and Bollywood actor Upen Patel are also part of the film.

The magnum opus is reportedly made on a whopping budget. The pre-release business of "I" Tamil, Telugu versions have been fantastic and it is expected to have a huge release worldwide.
