The fans of Vijay have been keenly waiting to hear about the release of "Puli" trailer. Finally, here come some update on the same.

Well, the trailer of "Puli" will release on 20 August. The news has been announced on Vijay's official Twitter page and wrote, "#PuliTrailer from Aug 20th!!"

Sony Music, the audio rights holder of the film, reconfirmed by posting, "Mark your calendars for 20th Aug!Get ready for #Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Puli trailer. RT & share it with your friends.

We have to note that the special announcement has come on Sridevi's birthday today, 12 August. 

Meanwhile, the news of trailer release has thrilled the fans of Vijay and they are heading towards creating a trend on Twitter. They are spreading the news by promoting the announcement on the fans pages of the actor.

The teaser of "Puli" was released on 22 June to coincide with Vijay's birthday. It had gone viral among the Kollywood fans. Now, the trailer too is expected to the same magic.

Currently, the movie is busy with the post-production works. Chimbudevan with his team are working round the clock to release the movie next month.

While the makers have not confirmed the news about its release, the buzz says that "Puli" will be a Ganesh Chathurthi treat for Vijay fans. It means the movie will release on 17th September.

"Puli" is a fantasy-adventure movie written and directed by Chimbudevan. Vijay's manager PT Selvakumar has bankrolled the movie in association with Shibu Thameens. Kannada actor Sudeep, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani and Sridevi in the key roles.

The film is made with the budget of Rs.100+, which will be the highest-ever for a Vijay film.
