The much-awaited teaser of Vijay-Murugadoss's "Kaththi" is all set to be released during the film's audio launch on 18 September.
"Kaththi" audio launch event is expected to be a grand affair with the presence of several celebrities, including Vijay, Samantha, music composer Anirudh and director Murugadoss.
Fans have been eagerly waiting to listen to "Kaththi" album composed by Anirudh. They are set to have a double treat with the film's teaser releasing on the same day. Ayngaran International, co-producers of "Kaththi," has confirmed it on their twitter handle. "#KATHTHI Teaser and Audio from September 18th," the makers have tweeted.
The film's first looks and the motion poster have already created a huge buzz about the project. It has raised the expectations for the film's audio as well as its teaser.
Vijay has crooned a song titled "Selfie Pulla" for "Kaththi" album. This is not the first time that the actor has rendered songs for his films.
Some of his popular tracks, including "Google Google" from "Thuppakki," "Vaanganna Vanakkanganna" from "Thalaivaa" and "Kandaangi Kandaangi" from "Jilla", have turned out to be huge hits. It remains to be seen whether the "Selfie Pulla" song will impress the mass. It will also be interesting to see whether the teaser will justify the hype surrounding the project.
The audio rights of "Kaththi" have been bagged by Eros Music for a huge price. This is the first time that Eros has acquired the audio rights of a Tamil film.

Directed by Murugadoss, "Kaththi" will have Vijay appearing in dual roles. Samantha plays the female lead, while bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh will be donning the role of a baddie. Comedian Sathish is also part of the film's cast. Lyca Productions has jointly produced the film along with Ayngaran International.
"Kaththi" shooting is mostly completed and is all set to be wrapped up soon. The film is well on track for the diwali release.
