Vijay fans are planning to start celebrating his birthday a couple of days earlier as the release dates of the first look and the teaser of his movie "Puli" have been advanced.

It was earlier planned that both the first look and the teaser would be released on Vijay's birthday on 22 June. Now, the makers have decided to release them earlier.
The first look will be released on the midnight of 20 June and the teaser on 21 June midnight. Sony Music, the official music rights holder of the movie, announced the same on Twitter.
Sony Music South tweeted: "#Ilayathalapathy's birthday celebrations begin early!Catch #PuliFirstLook on 20th midnight & teaser on 21st midnight!"
The announcement has been welcomed by Vijay fans who have been eagerly looking forward for the release of the first look and the teaser.
The news has now gone viral among his fans online who want to ensure that the hashtag #PuliFirstLook trends high on Twitter.
The craze among Vijay fans is expected to reach a feverish pitch by Saturday, 20 June.
If the makers decide to release the movie during Ganesh Chaturthi (17 September), the the trailer launch is likely to be pushed to 15 August.
If the film's release is advanced, the trailer might be released in July.
At about ₹100 crore, "Puli" is a mega-budget project. Chimbudevan has directed the movie, which is being produced by PT Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens.
Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani and Sridevi Kapoor are in pivotal roles in the movie.
