Vijay and Shruti Haasan starrer "Puli" audio will be launched on 2 August at an event in Chennai. 

The buzz says that the audio launch of "Puli" will be a grand affair. While the guest list is not known yet, the star cast including Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep, gorgeous Shruti Haasan, charming Hansika Motwani and yesteryear popular actress Sridevi will be present at the event. 

The makers want the music launch to become a talk of the town and are therefore pulling all stops to ensure the event is hailed a success. 

Meanwhile, the advance booking for the audio has been kick-started with a bang. Some e-commerce sites have started the pre-booking with a promise to customers that the CDs will be delivered at their doorsteps on the music release day of "Puli". The price of a single CD is Rs.125.

The music is riding on positive vibes post the single release of "Yaendi Yaendi" song composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Vijay and Shruti Haasan have crooned the number which has been written by Vairamuthu. It was released on Friday, 24 July, directly on YouTube and got close to 7.5 lakh hits in a short time.

On the other hand, the latest photo of Vijay with Shruti Haasan has been released. The picture has gone viral among the fans of the two actors.

"Puli" has been written and directed by Chimbudevan. PT Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens are jointly producing the flick, which has Natarajan Subramaniam's cinematography and A Sreekar Prasad's music.
