The death of Tollywood comedian Vijay Sai on Monday has given rise to lot of speculations.  Even though primary reports suggest that it is a case of suicide, police officials say that they cannot confirm anything at the moment.

Vijay Sai, who is known for his performance in Bommarillu and Ammayilu Abbayilu, was found dead at his flat in Hyderabad on Monday morning.  Reports say that the death apparently happened between 4 and 5 am.

But several speculations are doing the rounds in media. It is reported that Vijay Sai was going through difficult times with no film offers coming in his way in the past few years. Financial troubles had pushed him into depression. Reports also said that he was undergoing treatment for depression.

Besides this, Vijay Sai was also facing troubles in his family life too. He has been living separated from his wife since 2015. A case of marital violence under Section 498A (the criminality of marital violence) of IPC had been slapped against him, reports said.

The police are yet to confirm whether Vijay Sai left behind a suicide note or not. They are said to be looking into the details of his mobile phone to find out the people whom he spoke to just before his death. However, they declined comment on the reason behind his suicide, but they assured that they would investigate all angles.

"We are investigating all angles. There is also a previous case of 498A against him. So at this point we cannot tell the exact reason for suicide", Hindustan Times quoted an investigating officer as saying.
