Details about the release date of "Theri" has finally come straight from the horse's mouth. Well, Vijay has announced on Twitter that the video will appear before the audience on 5 February.
Vijay posted a new poster on Twitter and wrote, "#Theri teaser from Feb 5." He will be seen in police attire in the photo. His tweet created a huge buzz on the social networking site as it has got over 26,000 retweets and over 35,000 likes in about 12 hours.
The fans of Ilayathalapathy Vijay welcomed the news by trending the topic with the hashtag '#TheriTeaser'. They shared their happiness over the announcement and opened up on their excitement and expectations from the video.
Atlee Kumar, editor Anthony L Ruben and music director GV Prakash Kumar are currently working on the teaser, which is expected to be released on the midnight of 5 February.
The teaser was supposed to be released for Pongal. But, the makers postponed the release as the shooting got delayed. Later, it was said that the video-clip would be released for Republic Day but again it was pushed.
Meanwhile, Vijay has completed dubbing for his portions in "Theri" at AVM Gardens in Chennai. Even Amy Jackson's portions have been completed by dubbing artist Raveena, who has lent her voice for the actress. She took Twitter to thank the makers and posted, "#theri Thankyou @Atlee_dir :) @iamAmyJackson @actorvijay."
"Theri" is an action-thriller starring Vijay, Samantha and Amy Jackson. Atlee Kumar of "Raja Rani" fame has directed the movie, which is produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. While the audio of the Tamil film is expected to be out by the end of February, the trailer will be released in March and the flick will be released on 14 April for Tamil New Year.
