It is a known fact that speculations around Vijay's upcoming movie is very high and the latest rumours surrounding the movie was that Vijay will play triple role in the upcoming flick.
However, the producers of the movie have come forward and have cleared the air. They clarified that the Ilayathalapathy will not be playing a triple role in the movie and such rumours are completely false.
"Absolutely false news that Vijay sir doing triple role in #Puli," tweeted SKT Studios, the producer of the upcoming movie.
Earlier, there were reports that Vijay will play a dwarf, an artist and a warrior, but whether the actor will play a dual role in the movie is yet to be confirmed. Fans are now in a quizzical mood over Vijay's role and are now eagerly waiting for the first-look of the movie.
Meanwhile, "Puli" makers have apparently moved to Kerala after 75 days of shoot in Chennai. The team is now reportedly in the hill station of Vagamon and in some surrounding locations for the shooting of song sequences and will be there for the next 20 days.
The movie had also made headlines recently with regard to its music rights, which was acquired by Sony Music.
"Puli" is a fantasy adventure movie directed by Chimbu Devan. The Tamil movie features Kannada superstar Sudeep as an antagonist. Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani will appear as female leads in the movie.
Legendary actress Sridevi reportedly will be seen in a pivotal role and will play role of a queen and as Hansika's mother. Sridevi's last Tamil movie was "Naan Adimai Illai" (1986) and her Tamil fans are expecting her to make a marvellous comeback with the Vijay starrer.
The film also has Prabhu, Nandita, Vijayakumar, Thambi Ramaiah, Naren, Soori, Joe Malloori, Ajay Rathnam, Ali, Srinivasan, Vidyullekha Raman and others are in the cast.
