Actors Vijay and Dhanush seem to have been impressed with the recently-released Kannada film "Ugramm", which has set the cash registers ringing at the box office.

According to reports, Dhanush had shown interest to remake it in both Tamil and Hindi languages and star in both the versions. It is also being said that Dhanush might even produce the film under his home banner, Wunderbar productions. It may be recalled that Dhanush had worked in "Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram", which is a remake of Kannada film "Jogi."

Currently, Dhanush has a handful of projects including "Velai Illa Pattadhaari", "Anegan" and an untitled Hindi film, directed by Balki of "Paa" fame. It is not clear as to when Dhanush will kick-off the "Ugramm" remake and there is no official confirmation on the same.

Amid reports that Dhanush might take up the project, buzz is also that actor Vijay has shown interest in the Tamil remake of the film. Reliable sources have informed Indiaglitz that Vijay had liked "Ugramm" and might do the remake version after completing his upcoming film under AR Murugadoss's direction.

The Vijay-Murugadoss film is progressing at a brisk pace and the film's shooting is expected to be completed by July or August. Earlier, reports had emerged that Vijay would start working in Chimbu Devan's film after completing the Murugadoss directorial. But now, "Ugramm" remake has come into the picture; it is not clear whether thalapathy will delay Chimbu Devan's film to work in "Ugramm" remake.

While all these are mere speculations, official announcements will give us more clarity about Dhanush and Vijay's new projects.
