Vijay is confirmed to play a double role in his upcoming film "Kaththi," directed by AR Murugadoss.
Earlier, there were reports emerging that the actor will make a dual appearance in the film. Now, it has been confirmed by "Kaththi" producer Karunamoorthi of Ayngaran International.
The producer has revealed that 40 percent of the film's shoot has been completed and it will be wrapped up in August. He has also affirmed that the Vijay starrer will be hitting screens for Diwali this year.
This will not be the first time that Vijay will be playing a dual role in his film. Earlier, he had made dual appearances in "Azhagiya Thamiz Magan."
Interestingly, 2014 seems to be the year of double roles for our Tamil stars. Several upcoming biggies will have its lead actors in dual roles.

Superstar Rajinikanth will be appearing in father-son roles in his upcoming film "Kochadaiiyaan." The epic drama is all set to hit the screens on 9 May.

The film, touted to be a comedy entertainer, is expected to release in August 2014.

Comedian Vadivelu, who is making his comeback to films after a brief hiatus, will be essaying double roles in his film "Tenaliraman."
The historical fiction comedy film will be hitting screens on 18 April, 2014.
