The pre-production work of Vijay's 60th movie has come to a halt, but the makers are busy finalising their team for the forthcoming movie.

The latest buzz is that two important members from Rajinikanth's "Kabali" have been roped in for the Ilayathalapathy starrer and music director Santhosh Narayanan and editor Praveen KL are on board. This is a second major project for the fast-growing musician after Rajinikanth's "Kabali".

As per director Bharathan, they are yet to finalise the heroine for the film, which is presently called by the name "Vijay 60". Earlier, it was speculated that Kajal Aggarwal was roped in, but it appears like nothing is confirmed yet. The other cast and crew are also yet to be finalised.

The director has said that "Vijay 60" is a mix of all the genres. It means the story will be a blend of action, romance, comedy and sentiment. The forthcoming movie will be set in both rural and urban backdrops.

Vijay and Bharathan had earlier worked in "Azhagiya Tamizh Magan". Though the movie bombed at the box office, it did not stop Ilayathalapathy from signing them for the new flick. The upcoming film will be produced by Vijaya Productions, whose last Tamil movie was Ajith's "Veeram". The project is likely to take off in January and it will be a Diwali treat in 2016.
