Monica Siva is the latest addition to the cast of Ilayathalapathy's next movie, which is currently being referred to as "Vijay 60." The six-year-old child artiste will reportedly play the role of the heroine's niece in the upcoming movie.

"Meet child actor Monekha, who plays one of the leads in #Sanguchakkram, is also part of #Vijay60. [sic]" journalist Haricharan Pudipeddi confirmed via Twitter. Currently, she is busy with a few other movies like "Sangu Chakkaram," "Kattappava Kaanum" and "Siddharth."

Many in the industry feel that the father-daughter angle between Vijay and Nainika in "Theri" was successful in winning the hearts of the cine-goers. This factor seems to have inspired the makers of "Vijay 60" to work on the same sentiment to woo the family audience as well as kids.

Currently, the "Vijay 60" team is busy with the second schedule of shooting in Hyderabad. Jagapathi Babu, Sathish, Aparna Vinod and many others will be part of this schedule. However, after finishing his portions, Ilayathalpathy left for the U.S. He will be spending the next few weeks with his family before joining the shoot.

The shooting of "Vijay 60" started in May after it was launched formally with a pooja on April 11. The makers aim to release the movie for Pongal 2017.

Keerthy Suresh plays the love interest of Vijay in the movie, while Aparna Vinod will be seen in the role of a second female lead. Mime Gopi, Harish Uthaman, Sharath Lohitashwa, Sreeman, YG Mahendra, Vijayaraghavan, Sugunthan, Roshan Basheer and others form the rest of the cast.

"Vijay 60" features the music of Santhosh Narayanan, who is basking in the success of "Kabali." M Sukumar is handling the cinematography, while Praveen KL is the editor of the movie, which is bankrolled by Vijaya Productions.
