The cast of Ilayathalapathy's forthcoming movie, which is tentatively titled "Vijay 59", seems to be growing bigger and better. The latest person to be approached is none other than Sathyaraj, suggest reports.

The buzz is that Sathyaraj has been offered a powerful role in "Vijay 59". It is said he could play one of the villains in the upcoming Tamil movie. His character appears in flashback and his role would be critical to the movie's storyline.

The talks are reportedly on and Sathyaraj is expected to give his nod to act in "Vijay 59". It may be recalled that the actor had started his acting career as a baddie and slowly graduated to a hero.

Legendary director Mahendran has also been roped in to play the role of a baddie. He is the main villain of the flick.

Coming back to Sathyaraj, he had worked in Vijay's recent films such as "Nanban" and "Thalaivaa". In both the films, he had key roles. He was also part of director Atlee's debut movie "Raja Rani" in which he had an interesting role. One can expect something similar in "Vijay 59".

"Vijay 59" is the second directorial venture of Atlee Kumar. The movie stars Samantha and Amy Jackson in the female lead roles. Director KS Ravikumar is also doing a role in the forthcoming flick.

The movie also has Prabhu, Raadhika Sarath Kumar, Rajendran and many others in supporting cast.

The film has GV Prakash Kumar's music, Anthony L Ruben's editing and George C. Williams' cinematography.
