The cast of "Vijay 59" has been making headlines since its announcement and there has been several speculations regarding this. Now, it has been revealed that Veteran Tamil filmmaker J Mahendran will play the villain in superstar Vijay's next flick, which is being directed by Atlee.

"Director Mahendran has been finalised as the film's villain. Unlike regular villains, this will be a very interesting role. He is expected to join the sets soon," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
