Videocon Mobiles Phones has launched Videocon VA81M, a new budget Android tablet, for ₹4,900 in India.
The VA81M tablet boasts a 7-inch WSVGA capacitive touchscreen offers wide viewing angle. The 3G-only tablet is powered by a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system.
The VA81M tablet comes packed with a 1.3 GHz Dual Core processor, 512MB RAM, and 4GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB.
On the camera side, the VA81M tablet comes with a 2MP rear camera and a VGA camera for the front. The 2MP camera offers video recording in 1080x1920 pixels resolution. The tablet also comes with several in-built networking and utilities features including Wi-Fi, Dual SIM support, Voice Calling, Video Calling, A-GPS Navigation, Bluetooth, making it the best entertainment and communication device in the category.
The CEO of Videocon Mobile Phones, Jerold Pereira, said that the tablet is targeted at 'hyperactive' consumers.
