ATMUS Entertainment, the distributors of "Veeram," will be distributing Ajith-starrer "Yennai Arindhaal" in the US. They will be releasing the film in association with Hyperbees in the US, which is one of the key markets for Tamil films.

"Veeram," which hit the screens for Pongal 2014, did fantastic business at the US box office. "Yennai Arindhaal" is expected to fare well considering that Ajith and director Gautham Menon films have a strong following in the country.

"#YennaiArindhaal - USA distribution by ATMUS in association with Hyperbees. After VeeramPongal it is YennaiArindhaal Pongal for ATMUS!," tweeted ATMUS entertainment.

Expectations are sky high for "Yennai Arindhaal" as Ajith and Gautham have teamed up for the first time. The film, deemed as an action thriller, will have Ajith appearing in the role of a police officer. The actor will be sporting different looks in the film including that of his famous salt and pepper look and a mass avatar. Anushka Shetty and Trisha Krishnan play the female leads, while Arun Vijay, Vivek and Rajasimman are also part of the film's cast.

Harris Jayaraj has composed the songs and there are six tracks in the film. One of the songs titled "Adhaaru Udhaaru," rendered by Vijay Prakash and Gana Bala, has received positive feedback from the fans. It needs to be seen if the other songs also fetch good response from them.

The audio of "Yennai Arindhaal" is expected to be launched on 1 January as a New Year treat for the fans. There is a buzz that the film's trailer will release on the eve of Christmas this year, but an official confirmation is still awaited in this regard.

The shooting of "Yennai Arindhaal" is almost completed with just some patch work left. The film's post-production work is also in progress. There was a buzz that the film's release might get delayed, but ATMUS has confirmed that the Ajith-starrer is scheduled for 14 January release. The film is likely to clash with Vikram-Shankar's magnum opus "I," which is slated to release on 9 January.
