Even as Ajith is recovering from surgeries, the actor has reportedly given nod to two films in succession. These projects will keep him busy for the next 12 months.

There are reports doing the rounds that Ajith has been in talks with lots of filmmakers and is trying to find proper scripts to suit his image. Many directors have approached him with their stories but Thala seems to have decided to go with tried-and-tested directors rather than the ones who have not worked with him before.

The buzz adds that Ajith has given green signal to two back-to-back films. The actor will be teaming up with Siruthai Siva first and later with Vishnuvardhan.

Ajith and Siruthai Siva have worked in hit "Veeram" and 2015 blockbuster "Vedalam". They have decided to continue their association and the duo is going to team up for a family entertainer. The director is yet to complete the script and it is believed that the film will take off in May. Sathya Jyothi films has come forward to produce the flick.

The "Vedalam" star wants Siruthai Siva to complete the film in a fast pace so that it hits screens for Dilwali 2016. Simultaneously, Ajith will start working on Vishnuvardhan's film, say reports. This flick will be ready for Pongal 2017.

Ajith and Vishnuvardhan had collaborated earlier for "Billa 2" and "Arrambam". Both the films had turned out to be big hits at the box office and hence, there are huge expectations from them to deliver a good film again.

Currently, Vishnuvardhan is working with writer Balakumaran on a historical film based on Brihadeeswarar temple, Thanjavur.
