Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who is currently shooting for "Dishoom", met with an accident during the filming of a scene. The actor nearly passed out when he injured his leg while performing a stunt in Abu Dhabi, where the second schedule of the film is taking place.
Earlier, Varun had injured himself while rehearsing a dance number for the film, which also stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez. In fact, last year, the shooting of "Dishoom" was put on hold because of John's injury.
This time, Varun had to perform a stunt where he had to run and jump over a car, but he nearly passed out after injuring himself. The shooting was stopped and a doctor was immediately called on the set.
However, the actor just took a two-hour break before starting to shoot again. Though the entire team wanted him to rest, Varun went ahead and gave the best shot of the stunt.
Directed by Rohit Dhawan, "Dishoom" is an action adventure film that is slated to be released on 29 July. Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri will be seen in a cameo appearance in the film.
It seems Varun is following the footsteps of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. SRK, who was Varun's co-star in "Dilwale", injured himself in Rohot Shetty directorial and also in Farah Khan's film "Happy New Year."
Recently, Hrithik injured himself on the sets of Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro". The actor was on a break from the shooting for a while. In fact, the actor was hurt during the shoot of his last film "Bang Bang".
