The audio of Ram Gopal Varma's forthcoming Telugu movie Vangaveeti will be launched on Saturday, December 3. The makers have organised an event at KL University in Vijayawada.

Ravi Shankar has composed the music for the movie and Mango Music has acquired the audio rights of the Telugu flick. The album is expected to have mass songs and situational tracks.

Vangaveeti narrates the story of late politician Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga, and his brother Vangaveeti Radha Krishna Rao Sr. The movie throws light on their clashes in the communist-dominated Vijayawada in the 1980s.

The movie has landed in a few controversies, the latest being 'Kamma Kappu' song. The track has been removed following the high court's notice. "Respecting sentiments of some ppl we removing Kamma Kaapu song from Vangaveeti..The film is an emotional drama and it doesn't demean anyone [sic]," Varma tweeted on the issue.

Meanwhile, the talks between Ram Gopal Varma and Vangaveeti family on some scenes have failed to come to fruition. The director on Twitter has said that as he was not willing to compromise, the issue was not solved.

He tweeted, "I saw many serious warnings .1st time I saw very smilingly serious warnings .Dangerous .But I will not compromise on my vision of Vangaveeti." Ram Gopal Varma added, "Two important people are troubling..But many Radha Ranga Mitra Mandali people supporting us and I invited them to Vangaveeti audio event. "
