Nina Dobrev has two more days to go before she wraps up shooting for "The Vampire Diaries" season 6 and exits the CW show for good.

But before bidding adieu, Dobrev has been giving fans a glimpse into her last scenes with some fan favourite characters by sharing on her social networking platforms snaps from the set.

She has since shared snaps of her doing a scene with Ian Somerhalder, who plays her love interest Damon, and one with Paul Wesley, who essays the role of Stefan. Yet another snap shows Dobrev hanging out with Candice Accola and Kat Graham, who play her onscreen besties Caroline and Bonnie respectively.

Check out her tweets below:

Along with a snap of hers with Accola and Graham, Dobrev wrote:" Ok. Officially a mess. No hiding it anymore. Today has been a day filled with farewells.. I still have 2 more days of shooting before I wrap TVD. But it's officially a wrap on Caroline&Elena&Bonnie. Finished filming with these two beautiful, funny, sweet, sassy, amazingly talented and lovely ladies.... @candiceaccola @katgrahampics . Love you with all my heart and soul forever and always... #TVDFamily."

While it is too soon to say how Dobrev's character Elena will exit the show, fans will see her onscreen brother Jeremy either making an appearance or being mentioned in one of the coming episodes.

Talking about Elena's last scenes, executive producer Caroline Dries told TVLine that it will be "Surprising. Satisfying. Intriguing. Hopeful. Sad," and Julie Plec tweeted on Sunday that the ending will be respectful of Elena's relationship with Damon.

"All I can say is wait and watch and see. I think you'll find her exit very moving and very respectful of their relationship," Plec's tweet read.

"The Vampire Diaries" airs Thursdays on the CW.
