Enzo is out to make Stefan's life miserable, and now that the former is aware of Sarah Salvatore's existence, he is surely going to reveal the information to Damon when the upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries" returns to The CW on 22 January.

Damon is unaware that Gail, whom he killed, managed to give birth to Sarah in 1994 before passing away. Damon considered killing Gail one of the biggest mistakes of his life, and now that Sarah's existence is going to be revealed to him, it remains to be seen if he will make amends.

Without revealing much, executive producer Caroline Dries told Alloy Entertainment that Damon's reaction is going to come as a surprise. "As for Damon's reaction to the Sarah news, I can't tease too much, but I can say that it will be a bit of a surprise for everyone," she said.

Meanwhile, fans speculate that the surprise might have something to do with Damon knowing about Sarah all along.

The character of Sarah Salvatore will be played by Tristin Mays, and the character is an Art Major at Duke University. Soon after her mother's death Stefan made sure that Sarah was adopted by a good family and he has kept tabs on her through the years.

She will appear in the upcoming episode of "The Vampire Diaries," titled "Woke Up With a Monster." The episode will also reveal why Enzo is so keen on destroying Stefan. Is it because Enzo fancies Caroline, who is head-over-heels in love with Stefan?

" We are definitely going to get to that — why Enzo is keen on [ruining] Stefan's life — in the next episode," Dries told Alloy Entertainment.

A brief summary of "Woke Up With a Monster" reads: "After being kidnapped by Kai, Damon makes a plan to save Elena, meanwhile Enzo finally gets the secret out of Stefan about Sarah Salvatore being related to him."
