Mild tremors were felt in the north Indian state of Uttarakhand on Tuesday after an earthquake of magnitude 4.8 struck Pithoragarh.
The tremors were reported in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh area at 2.57 pm, as per reports.
The epicentre of the earthquake was in Kumaon, according to Times Now.
The earthquake measured 4.8 on the Richter scale, the ANI news agency reported.
