The collection of Majnu, Jo Achyutananda and Janatha Garage has slowed down considerably after the release MS Dhoni: The Untold Story at the US box office this weekend.

Majnu opened to a good response and fared well at the ticket counters across North America on the following days. The movie collected $444,022 at the US box office in its opening week. The movie was expected to do well and surpass the 0.5 million mark in the country in its second weekend.

The Nani and Anu Emmanuel-starrer, which was released in 112 screens on September 23, was forced out of around 50 percent of the cinema halls in the second week. Majnu was also pushed to a second choice for many film-goers and this resulted in a steep decline in its numbers. The film hit rock bottom on its second Friday and showed some growth on Saturday. But its business dipped considerably the next day.

Majnu has collected $53,920 from 58 screens at the US box office in its second weekend and its day-wise break-up is $15,645 on Friday, $25,916 on Saturday and $12,359 on Sunday. Its per-screen average stands at $929. The flick's 10-day gross total collection has reached $497,942 in the country.

The movie, starring Nara Rohit and Naga Shourya, was holding in around 40 screens in North America in the third week and this screen count has been reduced to below 10 now. Jo Achyutananda has collected $1,351 from 7 screens at the US box office in its fourth weekend, taking its 24-day total to $615,995 (Rs 4.1 crore). The film has become one of the big Telugu money spinners in the country.

The Junior NTR-starrer had 11 screens in the country in its fourth week and it was forced to be out of theatres in the fifth week. Janatha Garage has collected $61 from 1 screen at the US box office in its fifth weekend. Its 32-day US total gross collection has reached $1,800,280 (Rs 11.97 crore). The movie is likely to be withdrawn from all the cinema halls in the country by the sixth week.
