"Jyo Achyutananda" has made better collection than Junior NTR's "Janatha Garage" at the US box office in its opening week and is continuing to have an edge over the latter in its second week too.

The Naga Shourya and Nara Rohit-starrer was released in over 90 screens across North America on Sept 9. The movie was premiered in several locations across the country on Sept 8, a day before its release. The film received fantastic talk from the viewers and the world of mouth boosted its collection at the US box office in the following days. It collected $349,236 in its opening weekend and $62,384 on weekdays.

"Jyo Achyutananda" has collected $411,620 (Rs. 2.76 crore) at the US box office in the first week. The movie has become the highest grossing movie for Naga Shourya and Nara Rohit in just seven days. Taran Adarsh tweeted on Sept. 16: "Telugu film #JyoAchyuthananda had an EXCELLENT Week 1 in USA... Total after Week 1 [till 15 Sept]: $ 411,620 [₹ 2.76 cr]. @Rentrak."

When compared to its first Friday collection, the Srinivas Avasarala-directed movie witnessed over 60 percent drop in its business on its eighth day. "Jyo Achyutananda" collected $39,243 at the US box office on its second Friday, taking its eight-day total to $450,893. The Junior NTR and Mohanlal-starrer gave up 50 percent of screens (that it was holding in its first week) to new releases. In its second week, "Janatha Garage" collected $110,587 at the US box office, taking its 15-day total gross to $1,757,089. Its screens were reduced by 65 percent in its third week and its business hit the rock bottom in the country. "Janatha Garage" collected $5,629 at the US box office on third Friday and its 16-day gross total has reached $1,762,717. Idlebrain Jeevi tweeted: "#JanathaGarage collects $5,629 on 3rd Friday and the total so far in USA is $1,762,717. "
