US box office collection: 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoi' beats 'SVSC', 'S/o Satyamurthy', 'Baadshah' lifetime records

Nani's "Bhale Bhale Magadivoi" (Bale Bale Magadivoy/BBM) is enjoying its dream run at the US box office even in its third week, and has beaten the lifetime record of Allu Arjun's "S/o Satyamurthy".

"Bhale Bhale Magadivoi", which released in 113 screens in the US on 4 September, received overwhelming response and collected $9,61,012 [Rs 6.39 crore] at the US box office in its first week. In its second weekend, the movie surpassed the mark of $1 million and also smashed the lifetime business record of Junior NTR's "Temper".

The Nani and Lavanya Tripathi starrer collected $1,231,105 at the US box office in 10 days and the movie needed $23,594 to beat the record of "S/O Satyamurthy", which is the third highest grosser Telugu movie of 2015 in the country. During the weekdays, "Bhale Bhale Magadivoi" raked in $33,597 at the US box office, taking its 14-day total collection to $1,264,702.

The Maruthi Dasari-directed comedy flick is doing steady business in its third week too. "Bhale Bhale Magadivoi" has collected $68,260 at the US box office on its third Friday and Saturday together. Its 16-day total collection in the US stands at $1,332,962 [Rs 8.78 crore].

On Saturday, India's leading film trade analyst Taran Adarsh stated: "Telugu film #BhaleBhaleMagadivoi crosses $ 1.3 mn in USA. Week 3: Fri $ 23,649, Sat $ 44,611. Total: $ 1,332,962 [₹ 8.78 cr]. @RentrakIndia"

"Bhale Bhale Magadivoi" has shattered the lifetime business record of blockbuster Telugu movies like "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" [SVSC], "S/o Satyamurthy", "Baadshah" and "Race Gurram" in the country. The movie has landed in the fifth place in the top 10 all-time highest grosser Telugu movies at the US box office.
