After "Sanam Re," beauty queen Urvashi Rautela has reportedly been finalised for the sequel of "Alone." Apparently, producer Kumar Mangat is impressed with Urvashi's performance in her previous film and has signed her in place of Bipasha Basu.

"Mangat was impressed with Urvashi's acting skills in 'Sanam Re' and thinks that she fits the bill for a very important role in the second part," Spotboye.com quoted a source as saying. In the first part of the franchise, Bipasha and Karan Singh Grover had played the lead roles.

"Alone," which was the first erotic-horror flick of last year, failed to impress the viewers. It was a remake of the 2007 Thai film of the same name. However, it will be interesting to see what the makers are planning to show in the sequel.

On the other hand, Urvashi will next be seen in adult comedy "Great Grand Masti." She had reportedly revealed that her character is inspired by that of Ajay Devgn and Lara Dutta's characters in the first part, "Masti."

"I play the girlfriend of all three guys (played by Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani) in the film. My role is inspired by what Ajay Devgn and Lara Dutta did in 'Masti'," IANS quoted Urvashi as saying.

Directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ekta Kapoor, "Great Grand Masti" also features Shraddha Das, Mishti, Pooja Chopra, Sonal Chauhan and Pooja Bose.

"Great Grand Masti" was earlier rejected by the censor board, apparently over its alleged extremely vulgar content. Due to this, the film's release got delayed. Instead of heading to the Revising Committee (RC), Ekta reportedly decided to approach the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal directly to appeal for its certification.

Meanwhile, the release date has not been revealed yet, but it is expected to hit the screens this year.
