The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 (Bahubali: The Conclusion) has created history by surpassing the mark of Rs 100 crore nett at the Indian box office in just three days (first weekend).

The Hindi version of Baahubali: The Beginning, the first instalment in the Baahubali franchise, had collected less than Rs 20 crore nett at the Indian box office in the first weekend. After seeing the hype and curiosity and its huge screen count, the people in B-Town expected it to open big, but none had imagined that it would cross the mark of Rs 100 crore nett in the domestic market in 3 days.

The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 made its debut with tremendous response in the domestic market and collected Rs 41 crore nett at the Indian box office on the first day. The film has became the second biggest opener after Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year, which raked in Rs 42 crore nett in the domestic market on its opening day.

Baahubali 2 was successful in winning hearts of Hindi audience. The strong word of mouth boosted its 6collection in the domestic market on Saturday and Sunday. The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati-starrer went on a record-breaking spree over the weekend. The distributors gasped to compile its numbers coming from various directions.

The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 has collected approximately Rs 129 crore nett at the Indian box office in the first weekend. Its three-day gross total is somewhere close to Rs 200 crore in the domestic market. Ramesh Bala‏, an observer of southern film industry, tweeted: "Updated #BaahubaliTheConclusion Hindi 1st Weekend BO Nett: Apr 28th - ₹ 41 Crs,Apr 29th - ₹ 42 Crs, Apr 30th - ₹ 46 Crs, Total - ₹ 129 Crs."

Bollywood filmmakers and stars were all surprised when the Hindi version of Baahubali: The Beginning crossed the mark of Rs 100 crore nett at the Indian box office in its lifetime, as it was the first dubbed film to achieve it. With Baahubali 2 crossing this mark in just three days, the Bollywood celebs are just stunned. The movie has just shattered all records and set a new benchmark for Bollywood.

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, which is shell shocked to see the massive numbers, tweeted: "#Baahubali2 *Hindi version* rewrites HISTORY. DEMOLISHES *all* records [including #Dangal and #Sultan]. Await final number. Opening weekend."
