New Delhi, Aug 05 (ANI): Even as the government agreed not to test candidates for English skills in the civil services preliminary examination scheduled for August 24, protesting civil-service aspirants fumed and vowed to continue their almost month-long stir to demand scrapping of the civil services aptitude test (CSAT). The Arvind Verma committee report submitted to the government has recommended that no change should be made in the CSAT as it is a scientifically formed exam and shouldn't be tinkered with. However, politicos from rival parties also stepped up attack on the government over the issue. The government however claimed that it is making serious efforts to resolve the matter.
