Not many know that the hardworking actress did not have to struggle much to begin her modelling career. While shopping at a mall in Bangalore, well-known fashion designer Wendell Rodricks spotted her at a denim shop and she got her first break.

She had never planned to be a model or an actress, her initial choice of career was journalism.

After studying in the Army school and graduating from Mount Carmel College, she moved from Bangalore to Mumbai to pursue her career in the fashion world.
