Thousands of people might have scoured through photographs of the Moon taken by then Soviet Russia since 1950s but none seemed to have observed them as minutely as UFO Sightings Daily editor Scott C. Waring, as he has claimed to have spotted UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) in the pictures.

Waring has claimed on a post on UFO Sightings Daily that hundreds of alien ships in the shape of cross have been spotted in the pictures of the moon.

"Yeah, you know I can't look at just one Soviet Luna photo. As I continued my voyage though these intriguing photos. I came across an alien ship in the shape of a cross. This ship probably was parked here long ago. I noticed that I have found hundreds of abandoned ships on the moon...remember Deporte crater...there are two there...a cigar and a triangle craft," wrote Waring.

He also went on to claim that screw-like container is seen in one of the photos and they were similar to object spotted on Mars.

"The photos of the old Luna Soviet missions are interesting. In one photo I found this screw-like container on the surface of the moon and an object in the shape of two attached wheels. Both are in the same photo, so they are not the same objects, but two different objects," he wrote.

"Now is it just me, or have we seen this screw object before on Mars? It looks familiar," he added.

Interestingly, NASA has sparked off speculations on the existence of aliens with scientists reportedly being baffled by the bright spots seen on dwarf planet Ceres.

NASA's spacecraft Dawn has sent closer images of the 598 miles diameter dwarf planet in the orbit of Neptune with bright spots being seen. Interestingly, many are of the opinion that several videos of the mini planet uploaded on YouTube are proof that aliens do exist and that their civilisation could be well ahead of human beings on earth.
