Georges St Pierre was left emotionally hurt by UFC President Dana White after the latter announced that GSP's much awaited comeback fight with the middleweight champion Michael Bisping has been called off. However, it's time for him to move on and try some other opponent.

GSP tested the patience of Dana and after continuous procrastinations, the UFC president zeroed in on Yoel Romero to be the next opponent for Bisping; the title fight scheduled for July.

Interestingly, around the same time, Dana decided to pull off the veteran Anderson Silva from the UFC 212 fight card, where he was scheduled to fight against Kevin Gastelum.

All Anderson did was speak out on Dana's sudden decision of awarding Romero the Bisping fight and mistreating GSP.

Fantasy warfare coming true?

Let's not forget, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fans, over the years, have relished the prospect of watching a superfight between the two UFC veterans -- Anderson Silva and GSP -- and with the sudden interesting turn of events, we absolutely cannot rule out the fantasy warfare turning real, soon enough.

Of course, both of them are itching for that one more fight -- GSP for that much-awaited comeback match and Anderson Silva with that one more match to test his decades of martial arts experience.

While that remains nothing but a dream still, GSP was asked about the prospect of a superfight match with Anderson, yet again!

Eh... It could happen. It depend on the condition. Fight is about timing, you know what I mean? Sometime, some guys, their stock is high, some guy their stock is lower. You want the guy, their stock is the highest. It fluctuates. I don't think his stock right now is very high. He's a legend, stuff he has done in the past, but he's not the same as he was back in the day.

- GSP (as quoted from a Fancy Combat video interview on May 11)

Enter Conor McGregor

No matter how much we try to talk about McGregor's proposed multi-million dollar boxing fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr, fact remains that the Irishman is still very much an employee of the UFC, and is slated for a return to the octagon in fall (autumn).

GSP, too, is returning at that period.

Considering the above video and the statements made by St Pierre, McGregor indeed is the numero uno in UFC at the moment in terms of popularity as having the highest stock.

Firas Zahabi, GSP's trainer has reportedly also stated that it would be easier for the 35-year-old Canadian to drop down to lightweight (155 pounds) rather than moving to the middleweight (185 pounds).

GSP originally fought in the welterweight division (170 pounds) throughout his UFC career.

Now, with Bisping out of the equation, are we set for dream superfight matches in the UFC later this year? What do you think? Drop us your comments below.
