After the team of "Udta Punjab" won the legal battle with the censor board, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor treated his fans by releasing five videos of his workout sessions. The handsome hunk posted the clips of his (in Tommy Singh's look) workout sessions.
In the videos, a shirtless Shahid looked amazing as he is seen working out. The clips show how much hard work he has put to get such a phenomenal body. The soon-to-be father informed via the captions that the videos were of the time when he was in his "Udta Punjab" character and was working out to get that required posture.
Shahid will be seen playing a rockstar in the Abhishek Chaubey directorial and his character will also be a drug addict. Produced by Anurag Kashyap, the film will revolve around the drug trafficking issue in Punjab. It will also feature Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in key roles.
Alia will play a migrant from Bihar and she comes to Punjab in search of work, but ends up becoming a victim of drug trafficking. Kareena will play Dr. Preet Sahani, who sacrifices her easygoing life to move to Punjab to tackle the drug menace. And, Diljit will appear as a cop in his Bollywood debut movie.

The film, "Udta Punjab," which is scheduled to be released on June 17, was embroiled in trouble as the censor board had imposed 89 cuts before giving it an "A" certificate. It had also asked the makers to remove the term "Punjab" from the film as it showed the state in a bad light.
The makers, then took, the issue to Mumbai High Court, which directed the film to be released with only one cut and an "A" certificate. However, the recent buzz is that "Udta Punjab" might not be released in Punjab and Haryana.
