Bijapur, Oct 4 (ANI): Two Maoists surrendered in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh due to discriminatory policies by the Naxal organization. The two rebels surrendered after they got to know about the rehabilitation programme for the Maoists and they were also awarded with rupees 10,000 each. The two Maoists have been identified as Yalam Samaiya and Dubba Kanhaiya and they were working for 10 years with a Maoist organization. Maoists, also known as Naxals, have killed police and politicians, and targeted government buildings and railway tracks in an insurgency that has killed thousands since 1960s.
