Ahead of the launch on 20 January, a picture of the upcoming TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has been leaked online. The picture gives a clear idea on how the flagship Apache model looks. The motorcycle, in the images leaked by Autosmaxabout, is seen in red colour and features a design derived from the Draken X21 concept TVS showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo.

To be launched in India and Indonesia, the Apache RTR 200 4V will be powered by 197.75cc air-cooled engine with an oil-cooler (developed with inputs from BMW Motorrad) that develops 20.23bhp and 18.1Nm of torque mated to a five-speed gearbox. The engine powers the motorcycle to reach 60kmph from standstill in just 3.9 seconds.

The Apache RTR 200 4V will employ telescopic front suspension and mono-suspension with gas filled shox at rear. The braking will be taken care of by 270mm disc at front and 200mm disc at rear while ABS is also on offer. The tyres are TVS SriChakra of sizes 90/90 R17 at the front and 130/70 R17 at the rear.

The design is not exaggerated with many add-ons, which has helped TVS keep the weight of the motorcycle to 140kg. The motorcycle features an athletic body style with chiselled edges. The motorcycle also comes with split seats, clip-on handle bar, W-shaped grab rail, LED tail lights, engine cowl and alloy wheels. When launched, the new Apache is expected to be priced around Rs 95,000 and will be available in six colours: black, grey, red, matte black, white and yellow.
