Dhaka, Aug 13 (ANI): Supporters of youth wing of Bangladesh's ruling Awami League, Jubo League recently participated in a mourning procession ahead of the 40th death anniversary of the founding father, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who was assassinated during an army coup in 1975 along with his family members. Jubo League supporters came out in droves in Dhaka and marched on to the streets. Mujibur, or Mujib as he was popularly called, was killed along with most of the members of his family in a 1975 revolt by young army officers. One of his two surviving daughters, Sheikh Hasina, is now the country's prime minister. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina set up the war crimes tribunal in 2010 to investigate abuses during the 1971 war.
