Manipur, Dec 22 (ANI): After obtaining his master's degree in Social Work from Maharashtra, Aaron Pam Shang returned back to his village in Imphal West and established Sharon industries in 2010. He produces a wide range of products including phenyl, dish wash, cleaning detergents and herbal disinfectants and even supply raw material to local self-help groups to generate employment. The aim was to generate employment for the youth. Aaron markets his products in Manipur and has achieved a monthly turnover of Rs. 10 lakh. He has set-up an outlet in Nagampal and sells raw material to SHGs and others. At present, eight workers are employed in the factory. With the decline in insurgency, many educated youth from Manipur are setting up businesses in their villages and towns. It not only helps in generating revenue for the state but provides work to many unemployed youth.
