Srinagar, Aug 28 (ANI): The woman, who killed a leopard with a sickle, said she held the animal with its ears and made it fall on the ground. Kamla Devi survived half an hour fight with the leopard when the animal attacked her at a village in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Devi fractured both her hands and sustained scratches and swellings, was critical and getting treated at Srinagar base hospital. Devi’s skull received 50 stitches. Representatives of local women's organisation are of opinion that a courageous woman like Devi should be awarded by the State government.
