R S Pura/ Srinagar/ New Delhi, Oct 04 (ANI): Villagers living near the Indo-Pak border remained in fear throughout the night as Pakistan continued to shell mortars to target Indian positions on the international border in RS Pura sector of Jammu district. A fresh ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in the Swajian sector of Poonch left two people injured last night from the same village. The village sarpanch of Kake-de-Kothe village, a grandfather and grandson duo, were injured in the firing. Unprovoked firing by Pakistan side have also led to loss of property of the nearby villagers who are dreading under fear nights by night as the ceasefire violations are continued for days. Earlier on Friday, one civilian was killed, while four others were injured in Swajian sector. Injured were immediately taken to hospital. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that government needs to take strong position over the issue.
