Guwahati, Sep 01 (ANI): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, who was in Guwahati to attend a meeting with the Chief Ministers of 8 Northeastern states, reviewed the security situation on Assam-Nagaland Border. He held talks with Assam and Nagaland Chief Ministers on the escalating border violence. Meanwhile, a curfew has been imposed in Golaghat following the clashes between the police and protestors. The Army also held a flag march in the violence hit areas to bring the situation under control. In addition to three companies of CRPF, 1,000 paramilitary personnel have been deployed and security pickets have been set up in the affected villages. The Home Ministry had earlier also submitted a report on the border violence to the Prime Minister's office.
