Siliguri, Nov 29 (ANI): Rebecca Aditi Sandlert, who was adopted by a Swedish parent, thirty four years back, returned to India in search of her real parents in Siliguri. Born of a Nepali mother and Bengali father on June 28, 1980 Sandlert landed at an orphanage in Kolkata from a nursing home in Siliguri. Her mother gave her up after she was left with no resources to support the child being a single parent as her husband had left her following his family's opposition to the marriage. Few months later, she was adopted by a Swedish family. Sandlert’s Friend, Sidney Norling who is accompanying her to India, hoped to find her roots.
