Mumbai, Sept 20 (ANI): President of Maharashtra unit of BJP, Devendra Fadnavis, ruled out breaking of alliance and said that the party has given proposal to Shiv Sena over seat sharing for the upcoming polls. As per the earlier reports, Shiv Sena had asked BJP to contest on 199 seats out of 288, if it wanted to continue the alliance. However, the BJP did not accept it, adding it will contest on all 288 seats and break the alliance with right-wing party. Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray, said that the party wants to take the alliance ahead in the greater interest of Maharashtra and people of Maharashtra.
