Khunti, July 23 (ANI): Acting on a tip-off, security personnel of India’s paramilitary, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), along with the police launched an operation to nab Maoists hiding in forest area in Jharkhand on Wednesday. During the search operations, Maoists started firing at the police and during the encounter, one Maoist was shot dead. The Maoist has been identified as Vishal alias Tulsi, who was a sub-junior commander and had 22 cases against him. During the encounter, a hardcore rebel, Panda Munda, belonging to People’s Liberation Front of India surrendered to the police. He is charged with a murder and 23 other cases.
