New Delhi, Dec 18 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Thursday extended bail of Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa by four more months in the disproportionate assets case. Jayalalithaa, who has appealed against her conviction in a corruption case, will remain on bail till April. The court also asked chief justice of Karnataka High Court to constitute a special bench to expeditiously decide Jayalalithaa's appeal within 3 months. The SC also ordered that the case be heard on a day-to-day basis. The matter came up before the Supreme Court on Thursday, counsel for Jayalalithaa, KTS Tulsi informed the Chief Justice HL Dattu, that in compliance with the earlier order of the apex court, Jayalalithaa had already submitted all the appeal papers before the Karnataka High Court.
