Palamu, Jan 31 (ANI): Police in Jharkhand on Saturday claimed major success when they arrested two Maoist rebels involved in several anti-government operations. One of the arrested rebels was a regional committee member of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), Jairam Yadav, who was involved in more than two dozen cases. He and his aide, Bhupendra Yadav, were arrested when they came to visit their family in Palamu region of the state. Police said Jairam was involved in an encounter with security forces in Katia jungle in Latehar district in 2013, where the Maoists planted an explosive inside the body of a dead soldier. The police also recovered one revolver and several cartridges from the rebels.
