Ajmer, Oct 19 (ANI): People's Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday was hopeful that Narendra Modi government would help in bringing the flood ravaged state of Jammu and Kashmir back on track. Both Indian and Pakistani sides of the disputed Himalayan region have seen extensive flooding last month with Srinagar particularly hard hit. Hundreds of people have been killed and tens of thousands are homeless. Mufti told reporters in Ajmer that Kashmir tourism, which is considered as back bone of the economy, has suffered a lot due to the catastrophic floods.
