Poonch, Oct 18 (ANI): Refugees from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) lauded state government of Jammu and Kashmir for providing them with financial help of Rupees 9,096 crore with Rupees 25 lakh being distributed to each family. Nearly 36,000 families are presently registered as PoK refugees. A refugee from PoK, Gurmeet Singh, hailed the decision and said that financial aid will work as oxygen for downtrodden. Meanwhile, chairman of SOS International PoK Refugee Organisation, Rajeev Chunni, declined to accept the financial aid as one time settlement plan and questioned the government's intention in calling it as a final settlement.
